Look what was hiding under my plants

My zucchini plant is so big that I can't seem to find all the zucchini. Oscar was out checking the plants for me today and found some giant zucchini and one giant squash hiding on the bottom of the plants. I don't know how I missed the squash because it's not that much bigger than it should be but the zucchini plant has leaves that are larger than my head and it is very full so its hard to really get in there and find food without damaging the plant. The biggest one is a little over twelve inches long. I guess we'll be making a lot of zucchini bread tomorrow.

Wow! I wish that was hiding under my plants! Just means I'll have to come over and share some yummy bread :).

I think it's the chicken hay. I have never had them get this big and that's the only thing I did different this year.

What the heck is chicken hay? I am sorry you are feeling under the weather! Call me when you feel better, because I need some help with my blog, now that I have a new camera! I love you, but I think the police are in the backyard with FWPD looking for a suspect. You know me, I just gotta go check that out! Bye!

Hey from the barn that the chicken have used. You put it around the plants for mulch. Last year I didn't do it until the beginning of summer but this year I put it out early spring and my plants are going crazy.
