Zander and I were having a bad morning today. I don't sleep well when Oscar isn't here and fasting makes me really sick so by the time we needed to leave for church I was done fighting with kids. When I sent the kids downstairs to get in the car Zander was still in his undies laying on his floor crying because Daddy wasn't here and his dog died, Tanner sat at his spot at the table for breakfast, he didn't like any of his clothes, and he was tired and wanted to go to bed. I told him he had 30 seconds to get dressed and get in the car or he was going in his underwear and then I went downstairs to lock up. He put his jammies back on and got in the car. We both had a terrible day at church and he refused to stay in his class. Because he stayed with me Sarah felt the need to come to my class several times as well. As soon as church was out we went straight home and I made the kids lunch. No one liked their lunch and everyone was complaining so I gave them a stack of Sunday movies and layed down on the couch. Zander was so tired he decided to join me.
We slept for about three and a half hours. A good nap always ends a bad day.
Thanks for the picture Tanner : )

Awe! That's sweet. I guess with all the trouble you went through today with him it's nice to have a sweet moment to remind you that you like him still :). Sorry you had such a bad day! Hopefully tonight will go better!
It's great that Tanner thought to take a picture. You can use it when Zander gets older and you really, really, really want to pull his head off!
I'm sorry you had a rough day at church. I hate those Sunday's where the kids are grumpy and don't want to cooperate. It's always harder to deal with by yourself. I'm glad you got a nap though!
I'm proud of you - I have had a couple of sundays like that - and they end with us not going to church! You did great! Sorry about his dog.
I have been having quite a few bad days here lately, but I can certainly agree, a good nap helps wonders!
have a great week!
